Customer program names and terms vary by country. In many markets, you may still be able to choose between joining as a Preferred Member or Preferred Customer for personal use and applying to become an Herbalife Independent Distributor.

Choose the customer route when you want to purchase products primarily for personal or household use and receive the customer benefits available in your country.

Choose the Distributor route if you want to sell products, serve customers and explore the Herbalife business opportunity. Distributor requirements and fees vary by country.
How U.S. VIP Progression Works
- Enroll in the annual Wellness Rewards VIP membership and begin at Bronze.
- Place orders according to your personal product needs.
- Eligible product purchases accumulate toward the Silver and Gold thresholds.
- Maintain and renew the annual VIP membership to retain the unlocked tier, subject to current program terms.
You do not have to reach the next level in one order or within one month. The standard thresholds are cumulative while the VIP membership stays active.

Is Wellness Rewards VIP the same as Preferred Member?
Not exactly. In the United States, Wellness Rewards and Wellness Rewards VIP replaced the former Preferred Member program with a different membership and rewards structure. Preferred Member or Preferred Customer terminology may still be current in other countries.
Can a Preferred Member or VIP Member sell products?
No. Customer memberships are intended for personal or household purchases. Selling products or pursuing the business opportunity requires a separate application as an Herbalife Independent Distributor.
